Technical and non-technical

OBJECTIVES

Technical and non technical skills assessment of maintenance technicians in order to determine the profession practical expertise level.

Assessed skills are:

- Technical
: Knowledge, manual dexterity, following procedures, using tools.

- Non technical: Leadership and teamwork, situation awareness, managing workload, communication, decision-making.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Personnel whose skills assessment for employment is essential.

PART 145 maintenance personnel as part of recurrent training.






REGULATORY REFERENCE

The assessment program makes reference to EASA PART 145.A.30 & 35 requirements.




Evaluation des Compétences

PROGRAMME

Personnel skills assessment is divided into three actions:

1. Individual self-assessment by the personnel as per an established skills matrix.

2. Theoretical and practical assessment made by an assessor from AIR FORMATION:

- Skills assessment through multiple choices test

- Skills assessment through practical and situational (EBT) exercices.

- Personal interview

3. Evaluation of results and solution suggestions.






Skills assessment is customizable regarding customer demand and needs. Assessments are tailored to all fields:

- Regulation

- Human factors

- Safety management

- Technician rules of the art

- Aircraft systems and circuits: use and operation

- Technical defects definition

- Tooling use

- Technical documentation use (whether paper or electronic)

- English language
